InHealth: Making work better for healthcare practitioners with automation
At a Glance
InHealth delivers highly skilled staff, state-of-the-art technology, and a strong focus on patient satisfaction to the UK National Health Service (NHS). With around 60 team members onboarding each month, the HR, finance, legal and procurement admin can take up valuable time away from patients. To ensure patients remained at the heart of InHealth, TQA designed and implemented an automation strategy using solutions to reduce time spent on administrative duties, increasing the time spent providing care and coverage.
Shared services automation
InHealth, a long-standing partner of the NHS, embarked on an automation journey in July 2021 to improve staff experience by automating time-consuming, mundane administrative tasks for its shared services teams.
Working with TQA, the first automated process was employee onboarding, which involved extensive data capture and recruitment checks for up to 60 new team members per month. As the program scaled, processes such as billing and VAT applications were added.
By May 2022, four processes were fully automated with our help, bringing the total to 17 automation solutions and saving nearly 21,000 hours of work across shared services and patient support functions. The team expects to save a total of 42,000 hours by the end of 2022.
